From using your excellent software I get the impression that only pdf’s are attached in the my library>my publications in the online library? On the desktop all pdf’s are stored is that correct and why can’t the pdf’s be stored in the online library?
The advantage of an online library is to be able to have access to your pdfs, at least to me.
Thankd and kind regards Dr Shock

    Hi Dr Shock,

thanks for the question! You can choose whether you want to upload your PDFs from the software to your online library in Mendeley Web. To do so, go to Settings > Preferences > General, and choose “Metadata and Files” in the “Back-up to Mendeley account” dropdown menu. Your PDFs will then be uploaded to your account, and you can access and manage them online.

    Best wishes,
    Victor

    Hi,
stumbled upon the changes today and was delighted! ^^ Together with the new pdf organization I’m definitely looking forward to, Mendeley is almost closing in on perfection (after all other requests are realized, of course!)

Keep up the work and thx
