Abstract

They discuss permissions in benign and malicious apps. They have a list of the top 20 permissions requested by benign and malicious apps. Given such insights, they do SVM for raising warnings. They say they are better than Kirin, as in Kirin they specify the suspicious permissions manually, while they do it automatically.
