Abstract

Many different people, including architects, engineers, planners, developers, and property owners, need archaeological information and advice in the course of their work. Current planning policies emphasise the need for such advice. In London, EH offers impartial guidance and advice on archaeological matters through the Greater London Archaeology Advisory Service (GLAAS). This leaflet gives a brief introduction to this service for those who may need to make use of it.
