Abstract

The aim of this work was to assess DSM-III antisocial personality disorder in delinquents using a semi-structured interview and the psychopathic deviate scale from MMPI. Psychopathic Deviate Scale is adequately sensitive (88,23%) and specific (79,16%) respect of the Antisocial Personality Disorders. The validity and internal consistency is also high. The scale shows a high discriminant value in relation to sociodemographic and penitenciary variables.
