Abstract

The article focuses on the importance of LinkedIn, a social networking site, in helping financial advisors build strong relationships with their clients in the U.S. It states that LinkedIn allows financial advisors to learn about a contact's interests which help build a successful relationship. It notes that financial advisors make many contacts during their career that might become clients, prospective clients, colleagues, and centers of influence. It reveals that by simply requesting or accepting a LinkedIn connection, communication between financial advisors and their clients automatically starts.
