Abstract

The article discusses the citation tools that can be used in creating bibliometric measures. It cites the citation map created by the Web of Knowledge that depicts backwards and forwards citation of an article with the use of a map format and provides a dynamic representation of the impact that a document has on a field, a topic area or trend. The Citation Reports gives a graphical presentation of a set of articles where users find a link to Web of Knowledge to Create Citation Reports after they conduct a search and select a group of documents. The Citation Tracker is a Scopus product that offers detailed information on finding, checking and tracking citations.
