An exploratory study of students' use of cell phones, texting, and social networking sites

Abstract

In a sample of 128 undergraduate students, a higher frequency of texting to others was associated with finding the relationships with those others less fulfilling. Similarly, having more social network "friends" was associated with finding the relationships with those individuals less fulfilling. © Psychological Reports 2010.
