Abstract

Information systems (IS) have a role of information processing and service providing for business activities. Moreover, the latter take place in an evolving environment and it becomes more and more crucial to measure the effectiveness and the efficiency of the IS as a support of the enterprise activities and strategies. The purpose of the corporate governance and the information technology governance (ITG) is to ensure that enterprise strategy is properly implemented. The ITG can thus facilitate the anticipation of the required evolutions of the IS. In this paper, we propose a framework for analysing and positioning ITG approaches often referenced in the literature.
