Abstract

Unless you've spent the last couple of years in Antarctica or maybe Ulan Bator, you've been reading a lot about the Internet. All the hype and hoopla may leave you wondering whether the Internet will be useful for you. The answer is somewhere between "probably" and an unqualified "yes," depending on whether your perspective is short term or long term. This article, one of a series on applications of personal computers for physicians, describes some of the resources available on the Internet.
