Abstract

Distal avulsion of biceps tendon can occur during rugby practice and, in our experience, the hooker seems to be the most exposed to this lesion. If proximal detachments are often well tolerated, distal avulsion requires a surgical repair to restitute effective function. Classical procedures require extensive and difficult exposure with a high rate of local complications. We have developed a mini invasive procedure under endoscopic visualization allowing an anatomic repair of acute lesions with satisfying results in competition sports.
