Nutzung von Biomasse zur Energiegewinnung

Abstract

The use of biomass for energy and materials for a sustainable and climate neutral energy supply is strongly promoted but also in controversial discussion. Biomass delivers already today recognizable amounts of renewable energy especially in the provision of heat. But also in the sectors of power supply and liquid fuels for transportation the share of biomass has grown in the past years. This paper gives an overview about conversion routes from biomass of various sources to different kinds of energy.
