Abstract

Narcissistic weakening of the ego under the effect of successive traumatisms during infancy facilitates sexual abuse in adolescence and fixes a melancholic basis. A possible return, in the treatment, of investment of eroticised objects (especially Oedipal) that have been repressed or excluded by splitting, liberates a part of passive feminine eroticisation freed of masochistic destructivity.
