Abstract

Back in 2006 Cisco commissioned Metiri Group to conduct a review of the research on the impact of educational technology on student learning. This first report, Technology in Schools: What Does the Research Say? was widely circulated and discussed among educators and education researchers.1 Since then, a great deal of new research has been published on the impact of technology on student learning, prompting Cisco and Metiri Group to update the original report. However, it must be noted that research cited in this report is not intended to endorse a particular technology, intervention, model, test, method, strategy, or material.
