Abstract

The article reports briefly on the appearance of "terrorists" in the Second Life virtual world. Avatars, or characters, under the name Second Life Liberation Army bombed virtual American Apparel and Reebok stores. The incident has raised concerns about actual criminals or terrorists using online role-playing games as training grounds for real-world crime.
