Abstract

Imaginary X(2) spectra of HOD at air/charged surfactant/aqueous interfaces highly resemble the IR spectrum of the bulk liquid HOD, showing no indication of the ice-like structure. Clearly, the hydrogen bond structures at highly charged interfaces are not like ice but very similar to the structure in the bulk. © 2010 American Chemical Society.
