Abstract

On 12 June 2011, the first International Workshop on Pervasive Urban Applications (PURBA) was held in conjunction with the International Conference on Pervasive Computing (Pervasive 2011) in San Francisco. The workshop aimed to bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss and explore the research challenges and opportunities in applying the pervasive computing paradigm to urban spaces. © 2011 IEEE.
