Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: 1. To examine the effects of behavioural activation compared to all other psychological therapies for acute depression in adults. 2. To examine the effects of behavioural activation compared to all medication for acute depression in adults. 3. To examine the effects of behavioural activation compared to treatment as usual/ waiting list/ attention placebo/ psychological placebo control conditions for acute depression in adults.
