Abstract

The authors invstigated th e e tendency and feature of adverse raction rports of rabies vaccines for animal e e use submitted from the 2003 to 2005 fisca years. The results confirmed that the rabies vaccine was safr than l e commercia canine combination vaccins given the percentage of adverse ract s that appared l e e ion e . However , adverse reactions occur frequently in dogs less than one year old and dogs between ten and twelve years old . Adverse ractions also tended to occur on the day of th e e vaccination and particularly within six hours for seri , - ous cases. Moreovr e this invstigation showed that anaphylaxis accounts for half of a , e ¥l advers e reactions. The results suggest that dogs sho uld be observed carefully on the day after the vaccination as described in the , insert.一 一-Ky word Advrs e e s : ee ractions dogs rabis , , e vaccin e.
