About this group

  1. Psychology

This group is dedicated to the phenomenon of causal perception, an intriguing aspects of action understanding where simple movements elicit strong impressions of causal interactions. The investigation of this phenomenon started with Michotte (see Wagemans et al., 2006), he developped a theory of the nature of causal perception, putting forward its automaticity and its possible innateness. The references gathered here give a sense of the recent revival of this problematic.
