I also some people I have seen on BioStar as well. For all who don't know BioStar [http://biostar.stackexchange.com/] yet, it is a Question and Answer site for bioinformaticsand computational biology similar to Stackoverflow. If you have questions related to bioinformatics or wish to help out, please visit us.
I wasn't aware that this group would become so attractive, pretty nice! I started this group as a reading list for a university course, with a focus on data analysis of RNA-seq in prokaryotes. I think it's fine to extend the focus to eukaryotes, but I would like to maintain a bioinformatics perspective.
John St. John added a document to this group
Nested Containment List (NCList): a new algorithm for accelerating interval query of genome alignment and interval databases.
A comparison of normalization methods for high density oligonucleotide array data based on variance and bias.
Evaluation of statistical methods for normalization and differential expression in mRNA-Seq experiments.
