About this group
Departing from the premise that disasters are social constructs this group seeks to gather relevant information about disasters causes and behavior in function of their socio-ecological context. Fundamental questions such as how does vulnerability is generated and reproduced across multiple landscapes? what are the most common socio-ecological failures of a population that lead to high risk conditions? are to be addresed.
