It's nice to see that in the last months there have been a number of people requesting to join the group. Originally this group was created to support a project on social Academia developed at the University of Trento. I am glad to see that it has grabbed the attention of people from other institutions and I was wondering what drove you to this group. Are you also working on projects related to social networks for academics or researchers? How do you think Mendeley supports the socialization of academics? Are you using other social networks for academics such as Academia.edu, researchgate.net, or aimresearcher.com?
