Discipline summary

Humanities is an umbrella term for the interdisciplinary study of the human condition. Including fields such as philosophy, language, history, the arts, law, and religion, the humanities makes use of the immense variety of our modes of expression to wrestle with intellectual concerns in art, science, and literature.
