Please login to import documents to your library

The Web Importer lets you import references and documents from a wide range of academic databases with a single click. In addition to this it lets you save a snapshot of any webpage you are viewing.

  1. Install the Web Importer:

    Import to Mendeley

To install the Web Importer, you can either drag the "Import To Mendeley" button to your bookmarks toolbar, or you can right-click this button and choose to add this link to your bookmarks.

For the Web Importer to work, your browser's pop-up blocker needs to allow pop-ups for http://www.mendeley.com
Click here to test your pop-up blocker: Pop-up Blocker Test

  2. Locate a document:

You can now begin to import documents from a wide variety of sites, such as those listed below. In addition to these sites, we also support COinS for the easy import of documents into Mendeley.

Can't find the site you want to import from in the above list? Send us a suggestion, and we'll do our best to add support for your site.

  3. Click the Web Importer!

Once you've located a document you wish to import, you'll need to click on the bookmark you made earlier on either your bookmarks toolbar, or via your browser's bookmark menu. Mendeley will then automatically import this document, and the associated PDF file if possible, into your library with the option of taking webpage snapshot as well.
