Biographical Information
Currently I am working as a programmer, developer, architect, etc. for Mendeley Web, and I spend a significant amount of time ensuring that our information is kept secure. I have an unhealthy regard for standards, and can be found with the biggest smile when these pages pass W3C validation.
Academically, I arrived at this point by way of the University of Sussex, Imperial College London, King’s College London, and the Open University too - so my full "academic title" is: Andi Rutherford, BSc (Hons.), MAC, dIC, PGCE - but from my point of view that just looks a bit ridiculous; and might indicate that I have spent far too long in lecture theatres and not doing 'real' work :)
I am actively interested in design especially with regards to usability, and when not learning and studying I might be found appreciating or doing something in the arts, baking, or visiting the pigs at Hackney City Farm.
