Biographical Information
Prof. Andrea E. Rizzoli is a senior researcher at IDSIA and Professor with the University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI). He holds a M.Sc. in Control Engineering (1989) and a Ph.D. in Control Engineering and Informatics (1993). His research interests are in modelling and simulation of dynamic systems, in the development of environmental decision support systems for natural resources management, and in the application of artificial intelligence and operations research techniques to environmental problems. Dr Rizzoli has authored more than 80 scientific publications. He is editor for informatics of the international journal “Environmental Modelling & Software”.
