Biographical Information
I worked as a shipyard fitter before returning to education to study a first degree in technical illustration. Following work in commercial illustration, graphic and web design, I undertook an MA in Interactive Art and Design at University College Falmouth, where I was subsequently employed as a Research Assistant in Knowledge Networks at the iRes Research Cluster. In recent years, I've worked with the Visual Learning Lab (VLL) at the University of Nottingham, initially on a studentship – successfully completing an MA in Research Methods – and more recently as a student intern promoting visual learning and related technologies across the University. I'm currently engaged in delivering sessions in academic social media practices with LeRoy Hill for the University Graduate School. Previously, I have also worked in supporting adults with Autism and learning disabilities.
