Biographical Information
I am a PhD student in Rhetoric and Composition at the University of Texas at El Paso where I work as an Assistant Instructor. Main interests include rhetorical theory as applied to photography, graffiti, and other forms of visual expression; other areas include social media, blogs, pop culture, and other types of online compositioning and reporting. Allied interests include needleart, surface embellishment, fashion and fashion history. Previously, I worked for art galleries (in Santa Fe and El Paso), and CPAs. I have also worked as web master and web designer for gas transmission and REIT international corporations. I create and maintain several blogs and twitter accounts to further my understanding of social networks and citizen journalism/communication, and because it's fun.
