Biographical Information
I am a graduate student in molecular nutrition studying the effects of high fat diets on the fermentation of fiber in the colon. My major professor is Dr. Michael Keenan. I am interested in how the macronutrient content of one's diet affects microbial growth and diversity, and how these things contribute to the pathophysiology of obesity, insulin resistance & diabetes, and gastrointestinal disease.
