I was born in Odense, Denmark. I grew up in Paris where I went to high school, and then studied law. I did an intership at UNESCO. I have lived one year in London, where I earned an MPA degree and did an internship research at the Institute for Public Policy Research. I lived for 6 years in Copenhagen where I studied politics and worked for the think tank Cevea. I have lived two years in Vienna, Austria, where I learned German and worked for Freies Magazin FM5 as a free-lance journalist. Since September 2009 I am a PhD Researcher at the European University Institute in Florence. I am working on the history and the theory of cosmopolitanism as a political idea.
