Biographical Information

I am currently a lecturer at Lancaster University and the Cockcroft Institute of Accelerator Science and Technology. My research interests include:

i) The design of intense sources of gamma rays and positrons (for example positrons for the future ILC).
ii) The investigation of electromagnetic phenomena in novel structures in the context of searches for hidden-sector photons, axions and other hypothetical particles.
iii) The study of the depolarisation of particle bunches in intense fields.

Enquiries from potential collaborators or PhD students are welcome.
