Biographical Information
Ingo Rauth has been in the field of innovation and design thinking research and consulting for the last three years. He has been a noted coach, teaching design (thinking) and innovation management. His current research is focused on innovation capabilities in order to enable major organizations to improve their innovation efforts.
His background includes seven years of working as a design consultant concerned with innovation projects of major companies such as Microsoft, Philips, Nokia and Steelcase. This experience led to his current interest in innovation management.
Ingo Rauth is an author and co-author of a number of scientific publications concerned with design thinking, education and management.
His diploma, which was concerned with business models and products for developing countries, led to a passion for social innovation. This also affects his current research where he is looking forward to research on organizational innovation capabilities to strengthen not only the financial but also the social outcome.
In 2003 Ingo Rauth launched his first nonprofit organization (http://www.precore.net) to help teenagers, interested in design, to get started with their education. Until today the self-financed organization helped more than 14.000 of them to find their way.
