Biographical Information
I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Educational Sciences and Early Childhood Education of the University of Patras.
I hold a degree from the Department of Education Sciences in Pre-School Age of the Democritus University of Thrace in Greece (1997) and an M.Ed. in Information Technology, Multimedia and Education from the University of Leeds (2000).
I have worked in the area of educational software, e-learning and computer mediated communication over the past 10 years, in private companies as well as research institutions.
My research interests are: educational computer games, educational software, multi-player online games as environments of learning and social interactions, virtual worlds as learning environments, computer-mediated communication and collaboration, e-learning, collaborative problem solving
