Biographical Information

I'm a molecular biologist working on bioinformatics and evolution at the Comparative Genomics group in the Centre for Genomic Regulation (Barcelona, Spain). My research focuses on applying large scale phylogenetic analyses to address different biological problems such as understanding gene duplication, tracing the evolution of gene expression, annotating genomes, predicting orthology and paralogy relationships, and reconstructing the species Tree of Life.
