During the transition he created the now-defunct online magazine The Post-Careerist and served as science editor for the pioneering Web publication BlueEar.com (also no longer with us). He has been employed by AAAS/Science for almost 9 years in various editorial capacities. He became the editor of Science Careers in 2005.
