Biographical Information

PhD student at UT Austin. I'm interested in producing high-resolution proxy records of sea-surface temperature and salinity using marine sediment cores. I utilize trace metal (Mg/Ca) and stable isotopic (Oxygen-18) variations in the tests of planktic foraminifera as tools to reconstruct these paleoceanographic parameters.

I graduated with a major in chemical engineering and a minor in procrastination from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka in Surathkal (a small beach town on the southwestern coast of India by the Arabian Sea).
