Biographical Information
Kelly researches how health status is both affected by and affects economic development in poor countries. Based in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia, her work includes topics on maternal and child health, and sexual and reproductive health. She also investigates links between early childhood development (ECD) and economic development, and evaluates interventions for improving ECD. Further work examines the role of intra-household allocation in determining child health and development.
