Biographical Information
Hi! I am PhD student at Electrical and Computer Department at The University of British Columbia. My advisor is Matei Ripeanu, and I work at NetSysLab.
My current research focuses on automating the configuration of distributed file systems.
Past:
During the last summers, I had a great time at Google working with the Site Reliability Engineering team for ContentAds (2009), and with the Cluster Management team (2010) in Mountain View, CA, USA.
Before coming to UBC, I had very good time at LSD (Distributed Systems Lab) of UFCG (Federal University of Campina Grande) where I worked as assistant researcher (2006-2007), and I concluded my undergraduate (2003) and MSc studies (2005) contributing to OurGrid project. As part of my research in OurGrid, I did an internship at Hewlett Packard Labs in Palo Alto, CA, USA. In 2008, I was intern at Fraunhofer ITWM contributing to Jawari project during a three months.
