Biographical Information

I am keen on the study of energy of landscapes for hard optimization problems. Especially in the context of local search methods, the underlying landscape influences their runtime to a great extent. As part of my PhD research, I have examined landscapes in the context of protein folding. I have contributed a novel population-based local search method to sample energy landscapes with many local minima.
