Biographical Information
My main interests are genomics, evolution, bioinformatics, and molecular biology. Also enjoy photography, blogging, and world music.
Born in Mexico, and lived in several cities within it. Currently living in Valencia, Spain working for the Alex Mira's group in the Center for Advanced Research in Public Heath of Valencia.
Current research focus is to use the Human oral microbiome, metagenomics & transcriptomics to gain insight into community evolution, gene regulation, and microbe-host interactions.
