Biographical Information
L. Mike Verdusco is an educational technologist focusing on pedagogical methods that leverage the purposeful use of technology. At his current position at University of Detroit Mercy’s Instructional Design Studio, he supports Blackboard users, conducts various training workshops and also works on projects specializing in multimedia to help support the university faculty. He also designed the Michigan Academic Library Council website and acts as webmaster supporting the institutional users. He sits on several committees at UDM and other intuitions. He also, teaches digital portfolio development in the School of Architecture graduate program.
Prior to joining the University’s Libraries/Instructional Design Studio in 2005 he worked in corporate training and communications. Holding titles of Media Specialist for Ericsson Inc. in Plano, TX and Multimedia Developer for Ribit Inc. located in Dallas. He holds a M.A. in Curriculum & Instruction, B.A. in Communication Studies, and an A.A.A. in Multimedia Production. He is also a doctoral student at Eastern Michigan University’s College of Technology.
