Biographical Information

Muneeb Ali, currently working at Mendeley as a Datamining Engineer; He studied computer science at Queen Mary University of London (BSc 2008') and Oxford University (MSc 2009');

At Queen Mary University, his project involved building a risk analysis model (REIRAT) for property investors using Bayesian Network Modeling. Correspondingly, at Oxford University he worked closely with researchers at Oxford's Computing Laboratory and Oxford Man Institute of Quantitative Finance. His research involved analyzing time-series data sets from various sectors, using Artificial Neural Networks. His Master's thesis "Forecasting UK Housing Market Trends Using Machine Learning Techniques" won the award of second best thesis of year 2009.

His general research interests are in Artificial Intelligence, Information Retrieval, Probabilistic Modeling and Machine Learning.
