Biographical Information
Mr. N.S. Magesh is a DST Research fellow and GIS Analyst at the Centre for Geotechnology (CGT), Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. After gaining his Master degree from University of Calicut in Environmental Sciences in 2008, he was employed as a Technical assistant with CGT for a period of 1 year (2009-2010). In October 2010, he joined as a JRF under DST Sponsored Project entitled "An Operational Marine GIS Expert system for Mapping of Non-living Resources". Over his short career, he has published several papers in peer reviewed International Journals and attended various national and international seminars and workshops. He is also served as a reviewer for various International Journals like, International Journal of Digital Earth (Taylor & Francis), Environmental Earth Sciences (Springer), African Journal of Environmental Science and Technology and International Journal of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering.
