Biographical Information

While Paolo Giacon started his research activities working on network theories and innovative wireless telecommunication protocols, he gradually shifted his research interests towards innovation management and business administration in technology intensive SMEs. His studies focus on entrepreneurship in emerging industries. His research aims at exploring and understanding the role of different factors like the entrepreneurial motivations, the technological paradigms, the external environments and the nature of technological opportunities within the dynamic process of entrepreneurship and new venture creation. Entrepreneurship education recently enriched the spectrum of his research interests
