Biographical Information
Since October 2009 I serve as a visiting professor at University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt, Department of Information Science & Engineering.
I am a postdoctoral researcher and project lead at the GESIS department Information Processes for the Social Sciences (IPS). PhD Supervisors: Prof. Dr. W. Umstätter und Prof. Dr. J. Krause.
Dr. Mayr is a graduate of the Institute of Library and Information Science (LIS) at Humboldt University Berlin. He studied LIS, computer science and sociology.
Since November 2004 he has been working in the projects "Competence Center Modelling and Treatment of Heterogeneity" (KoMoHe) and "Value-Added Services for Information Retrieval" (IRM) as a researcher.
