Biographical Information

I'm currently a Ph. D. student in Statistical Physics in the Institute of Physics at the Universidade de São Paulo. I'm currently working on agent-based models drawn from economic and sociological questions and how information theory and statistical physics can provide tools for reasoning about those problems.

I graduated as a B. Sc. in Physics at the Institute of Physics at São Carlos at the Universidade de São Paulo in 2004, where I also concluded my M. Sc. in Physics at 2007 under the supervision of Prof. J. Carlos Egues and wrote a dissertation on spin-orbit coupling in Semiconductor Physics.
