Biographical Information
Spyros Doukakis is PhD candidate at the University of Aegean, Department of Primary Education. He also a secondary teacher of Mathematics at The American College of Greece. He studied Mathematics at the University of Patras, Greece and at the Univeristy of Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Informatics at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, Greece.
He holds three Masters in
* Computer Communications and Networks from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK.
* Basic and Applied Cognitive Science, from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Athens University of Economics and Business (Interdisciplinary Program).
* Education from Hellenic Open University.
He has worked as research officer at the Network Operations Center of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and as Informatics educator at The American College of Greece, at the Department of Informatics, T.E.I. of Athens, at the Police Officers’ School of the Hellenic Police Force and at Computer Learning Centers.
He is the co author of the books “Applications Development in a Programming Environment” and “Data Transmission and Computer Networks” for secondary education. He is editor of the book “Applications Development in a Programming Environment, Past, Present, Future” which is published by the Greek Computer Society.
Moreover, he has worked as a Scientific Collaborator at the Hellenic Parliament (2003-2004), as a Special Collaborator at the Hellenic Ministry of Culture (2005-2006) and at the Hellenic Ministry of Economy and Finance (2007-2008).
He holds three Masters in
