Steve Stein is CTO & CIO of Interti GmbH a Berlin based Start-Up that distributes niiu, the first individualized newspaper. In his position as Chief Technology Officer Mr. Stein develops the information technology strategy of the company. He supervises a Suisse development agency, plans international partnerships and organizes technical resources.
Mr. Stein creates concepts for information architecture as well as strategies for online marketing and social media. He is responsible for all technical cooperations & technology partners and consults the board of executives in all technology related decisions.
He promotes the further development and optimization of the product line for a seamless and integrated information architecture throughout multiple different platforms & devices.

Steve Stein is also available as a freelancer and consultant in the area of information architecture (IA), usability (UX), human computer interaction (HCI) and the semantic web (web 3.0) as well as social network analysis and search engine engineering (SEE) & optimization (SEO).

Mr. Stein is a former lecturer in digital media at the University of Applied Sciences in Kaiserslautern and a discussion panelist. His courses included Media Management and Production, Media Design Foundations and Media and Communications.

Project Manager

As project manager I supervise the implementation and customization of multi-lingual web portals. I am responsible for the optimization of the development process. My special focus is the implementation of web-usability and the creation of a consistent user-experience. My assignments also include the development of a roadmap for SEO and strategies for the integration of web 2.0 technologies.


Research & Science

As research scientist & lecturer for Digital Media I hold classes in several media related subjects. Various scientific projects cover areas in social networking (online communities), search engine engineering (semantic web) and information architecture (user experience design & usability). My courses included Media Management and Production, Media Design Foundations and Media and Communications. Within my research projects I conduct, evaluate & analyze large scale information retrieval and advise and manage the development of prototypic implementations.


Consulting

I am consultant for web based services and information architecture, as well as usability, accessibility and security. I advice in the fields of application development, user experience design and search engine optimization.
My broad experience allows me to be appointed in various phases such as concept design and development drafts, final evaluation and approval. I take responsibility in leading position within implementation projects, marketing strategies, networking and cooperation approaches.
