Biographical Information
My name is Valentin Uzunov. I have been coaching boys and girl competitive gymnastics since 2002. My coaching career started in New Zealand, where i gained most of my formal coach education thought the Gym Sports New Zealand coach education program, reaching a Level 3 accreditation.
Very soon into my coaching career i found that coach education was very limited in New Zealand and so i found ways of networking with coaches, fans, gymnast through the intenet to try and learn more about the sport and coaching. Soon after i started The Gym Press, a coach education site aimed at incorporating science into the practice of gymnastics.
In 2009 i moved to the USA to continue coaching at a higher level, and continue to my coaching education.
