Biographical Information
My research focuses on how young adults interact with each other and the social structures/environments where they spend much of their time (i.e. school, after-school programs). I take a mixed-methods approach and employ narrative analysis techniques. My dissertation focused on The SOURCE Teen Theatre in Central Florida and the importance of creative spaces for youth expression, education and development. In addition to my research I am dedicated to improving pedagogy through the use of technology and increasing both classroom and research participation through the use of digital technologies.
